The Two Little Fishies MarineSnow 250ml is a liquid planktonic diet designed to replicate the "marine snow" found in the ocean, which is the natural food source for many marine organisms. It is used to provide essential nutrients for filter-feeding invertebrates and corals in a reef aquarium.

Features & Benefits:

  • Feeds marine invertebrates: MarineSnow provides a food source for filter-feeding invertebrates, such as corals, clams, feather duster worms, sponges, and anemones.
  • Enhances coral health: The formula contains essential nutrients like amino acids, fatty acids, and trace elements that promote growth and vibrant coloration in corals.
  • Replicates natural environment: It mimics the biogenic suspended particles found in natural seawater, which helps create a more balanced ecosystem in your tank.
  • Nutrient-rich: The food delivers both particulate and dissolved organic matter to the aquarium's inhabitants.

The Two Little Fishies MarineSnow ingredients include deionised water, phytoplankton ( varieties including NannochloropsisTetraselmisThalassiosiraIsochrysisSpirulinaSchyzochitrium), seaweed meal, zooplankton and citric acid.

Instructions for Use:

  • Shake well: Always shake the bottle well before each use.
  • Dose weekly: Dose 5 ml per 20 gallons of aquarium water 2–3 times per week. For larger doses, you can feed several times daily or use a dosing pump for a continuous drip.
  • Target feeding: You can either broadcast feed by adding it to a high-flow area of the tank or target feed specific marine invertebrates using a Julian's Thing applicator or a turkey baster.
  • Temporarily suspend filtration: Turn off mechanical filtration and protein skimming for about an hour after feeding to allow the food to be consumed by your tank's inhabitants.
  • Storage: MarineSnow does not require refrigeration. It should be stored in a cool, dry place after opening.
