Daro Vacation Block Fish Food is the ideal slow-release food solution as it will slowly dissolve and neutralize the aquarium water while also releasing food particles. It is recommended that 10% of the aquarium water be changed weekly. Vacation block should not be used in an aquarium that does not have aerating or filtering equipment. Water should be circulated thoroughly in order for the block to dissolve properly. For about 3 days, one block will be enough for 10-15 average-sized fish in a 45-liter aquarium. The water temperature should be between 20 and 26 degrees. Lowering the temperature or increasing the alkalinity of the water will hasten its dissolving rate.
