The Seachem NeoPlex antibiotic is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that is effective against the majority of external infections in both marine and freshwater fish. NeoPlex will not discolor the water or damage the filter bed when used as directed. Invertebrates tolerate it well, though delicate species may be stressed.
When the treatment period is finished, NeoPlex can be easily removed with activated filter carbon such as Seachem MatrixCarbon. It does not linger in the tank's substrate or filter media. Before turning on the UV, remove with carbon.
