The Alert Combo pack includes Ammonia Alert (1 card) and pH Alert 1 card). The size of Ammonia Alert® and pH Alert® is nearly half that of competing products.
They are small, clear, and unobtrusive at 3.8 x 6.3 cm, so they won't detract from the view of your aquarium. Simply place Ammonia Alert and pH Alert in an easily visible location in the aquarium or filter. It's really that simple. There are no chemicals or testing procedures required.
In relation to the ammonia concentration, the Ammonia Alert sensor changes reversibly from yellow to green to blue. It detects free ammonia levels of less than 0.05 mg/L (ppm) and alerts you to the #1 killer before any sign of stress. The presence of free ammonia is continuously detectable, with a response time of about 15 minutes. The response to decreasing ammonia is slower, taking about 4 hours to go from Toxic to Safe after ammonia removal. It is suitable for use in saltwater or freshwater.
The pH Alert is a one-of-a-kind color device that can be placed in an aquarium or filter to continuously monitor pH. A sensor changes color reversibly from yellow to orange to red to alert you to pH changes between 5.4 and 8.0. The pH Alert response time will be approximately 30 minutes when it is first put into service. pH shifts will then be detected within ten minutes. Only use fresh water.
