In Dundalk, Ireland, Horseware was founded in 1985. The prototype of the now renowned Rambo Original was born after months of research and hand-stitching, and it set the benchmark for modern rug design. Since then, they've established themselves as the world's most reputable horse rug manufacturer. To ensure the right fit for your horse, their rugs are tested for at least a year on at least 20 horses, ranging in size and breed from miniature ponies to massive Irish Draughts, with all breeds, sizes, and shapes in between. They can spend up to three years in testing. Ballistic nylon, which was originally created for flak jackets worn by World War II airmen, is used to make the Rambo rugs.

Significant research was conducted to support the usage of this color combination in the development of the new Evolution Fly Sheet in aqua/orange. The majority of insects have 'compound eyes,' which limit their ability to see particular colors. In fact, studies have revealed that particular insects are not drawn to yellow, aqua, or orange since they all have a low UV spectrum. Ultraviolet lights, on the other hand, are visible to most insects. Insects are attracted to UV pigments in flowers rather than vivid colors. Flies may be attracted to specific colors, such as your brilliantly colored clothing or car, but it's likely that this object is reflecting light in a way that these insects find appealing.
