Giesemann Powerchrome aquarium lighting system bulbs are T5 High Output (HO) fluorescent lamps known for their high performance and spectral stability for both marine and freshwater aquariums. They are available in various specific color spectrums and wattages (24W, 39W, 54W, 80W) to suit different aquarium needs.

Giesemann offers a range of specific Powerchrome T5 bulbs, each designed for a particular effect or application in an aquarium:
Giesemann Powerchrome Tropic: A full-spectrum lamp with all color components from blue to red, designed to promote strong plant growth in freshwater aquariums while inhibiting algae.
Giesemann Powerchrome Actinic Blue: Emits almost exclusively blue light (400-510 nm wavelength, peak at 420 nm), which increases blue wavelengths and supports coral growth in marine tanks.
Giesemann Powerchrome Super Actinic: Provides a pure actinic light spectrum that enhances the natural fluorescence and vibrant colors of corals and shells in marine aquariums.
Giesemann Powerchrome AquaBlue Coral: A blue-white light spectrum (approx. 15,000K) designed as a basic illumination for reef aquariums, offering brilliant, natural, and balanced colors for corals and fish.
Giesemann Powerchrome Super Purple: A high-performance white/violet spectrum lamp that accentuates pink, violet, and red colors in fish and corals.
