The Seachem CupriSorb Water Conditioner for Fish Tanks 100ml is an effective copper and heavy metal adsorbent. The CupriSorb removes copper faster and more efficiently than carbon, making it ideal for emergency copper removal. It extracts all types of copper, including chelated copper, and continues to work until it turns a deep blue-black color. It can be regenerated multiple times. If used indefinitely, it will gradually extract even precipitated copper from the gravel/substrate bed.  The CupriSorb prevents copper leaching from substrates, allowing invertebrates to be kept in copper-treated tanks.

The CupriSorb is a highly effective copper-specific chelating resin. Competing products are merely cation exchange resins, not chelating products. These resins are effective in removing copper from freshwater but ineffective in saltwater.

The Seachem Equilibrium Water Conditioner for Fish Tanks 300g is specially designed to maintain the ideal mineral content in the planted aquarium. Equilibrium does not contain any sodium or chloride (which can be detrimental to a planted aquarium at elevated levels). Equilibrium is ideal for use with RO (reverse osmosis) or DI (deionized) water, as well as any mineral-depleted water. Equilibrium raises the water's essential mineral/electrolyte content (General Hardness) to balance with and promote carbonate hardness stability. We recommend Alkaline Buffer to maintain KH.

Equilibrium contains no Sodium Chloride, in contrast to competing products. Both sodium and chloride are not rapidly depleted elements in a planted aquarium, and in the case of chloride, can be detrimental. Competitors' products typically contain primarily sodium chloride (due to its low cost), which increases electrolyte levels in fish but can be detrimental to plant growth. Furthermore, sodium is not a cation that contributes to GH levels. It is made up of only calcium, magnesium, and potassium salts, which not only aid in fish metabolism but are also extremely beneficial to plant growth. 

The Seachem Tanganyika Buffer Water Conditioner for Fish Tanks is a carbonate salt blend that improves cichlids' natural environment by increasing alkalinity, carbonate hardness, buffer capacity, and pH. It is designed to keep the pH between 9.0 and 9.4. Use with Cichlid Lake Salt, Cichlid Trace, and NutriDiet® Cichlid Flakes to best replicate the Tanganyikan environment.

The Seachem Discus Buffer Water Conditioner for Fish Tanks aids in the replication of the ideal Discus environment (low pH and low GH (General Hardness). Discus Buffer will lower and maintain pH. Discus Buffer softens water by causing calcium and magnesium to precipitate. For thriving, healthy Discus, use Discus Trace to restore the proper trace element level and feed NutriDiet Discus Flakes.

When performing water changes or adding top-off water, Neutral Regulator® and Discus Buffer® can be used in conjunction to achieve the desired pH. The following ratio chart is intended for RO water, which has no buffering capacity. Phosphate buffers and conditioning agents are included. All freshwater fish acclimated to acid pH are safe.

The Seachem Gold Basics Water Conditioner for Fish Tanks is intended to provide goldfish with the ideal bowl environment. Gold Basics removes chlorine, chloramine, and ammonia from the water. It raises the pH of the water to 7.0, promoting good health and growth. Gold basics 50ml treats 94 liters of water.

The Seachem Discus Trace Water Conditioner for Fish Tanks provides a wide range of trace elements that have been shown to be essential for proper fish health and growth. Fish, unlike terrestrial animals, obtain nutrients from both their food and their surroundings. Trace elements are normally depleted through utilization, oxidation, and precipitation, so they must be replenished on a regular basis. Discus Trace contains only the elements that have been proven to be required by fish.

Aquarium salt is frequently used to replenish salt levels in aquarium water. Some fish will tolerate this therapeutic use of salt, while others will not. This high level of sodium in the water will not be tolerated by Discus as a species. If you keep live plants in your discus aquarium, they will also not tolerate this. Discus Trace is a well-rounded trace mineral supplement that contains no sodium and is used to replenish trace and ultra-trace minerals that have been shown to be essential for fish health and growth.

The Seachem Cichlid Lake Salt Water Conditioner for Fish Tanks is a chemically sound blend of salts designed to mimic the natural environment of Rift Lake African Cichlids. It contains all physiologically necessary elements such as magnesium, calcium, sodium, and potassium, as well as trace elements such as iron, aluminum, and iodide.

Although the major Rift Lakes contain essentially the same mineral salts, their concentrations vary greatly. Cichlid Lake Salt is designed in such a way that dosages vary depending on the lake of origin, and it only needs to be added when setting up an aquarium or performing water changes. Many competing products are nothing more than Epsom salt and bicarbonate of soda mixtures. This will not provide a complete replication of the mineral salts found in African lakes, particularly calcium and potassium. Tanganyika Buffer (pH 9.0–9.4) and Malawi/Victoria Buffer (pH 7.8–8.4) from Seachem should be used to adjust carbonate hardness and pH.

The Seachem Brackish Salt Water Conditioner for Fish Tanks is a chemically sound blend of salts designed to replicate the native environment of livebearers and other brackish estuary fish without negatively impacting aquatic plants when used at the regionally specific recommended dosage. The salt is also suitable for freshwater aquarium use on a regular basis. It has no effect on pH or acts as a buffer.

The Brackish Salt, unlike other aquarium salts currently available, is more than just a simple sodium chloride product. In a planted aquarium, these other salts can burn the leaves and roots. Brackish Salt can also be dosed for general brackish and freshwater community aquariums. It is a safe and effective alternative to the commonly used sodium chloride-based aquarium salts.

The Seachem Betta Basics Water Conditioner for Fish Tanks is intended to provide the best possible environment for both the betta and the plant. Betta Basics removes Chlorine, Chloramine, and Ammonia. It raises the pH of the water to 7.0, creating a healthy environment for fish and plants.

The Seachem Alkaline Buffer water conditioner is designed to raise pH and Alkalinity, it is to be used in conjunction with the Seachem Acid Buffer. These buffers are made for the planted aquarium or for very hard water where phosphate buffers may pose and algae or cloudiness problem. The Alkaline Buffer raises pH and buffers between 7.2 and 8.5. It is gently, safe and enhances the freshwater environment.

The Seachem Alkaline Buffer Water Conditioner is intended to raise pH and alkalinity when combined with the Seachem Acid Buffer. These buffers are designed for planted aquariums or very hard water where phosphate buffers may cause algae or cloudiness. The pH of the Alkaline Buffer is raised and buffered between 7.2 and 8.5. It is gentle and safe, and it improves the freshwater environment.
