The Two Little Fishies ReVive Coral Cleaner 500ml is a plant-based coral dip used for cleansing stony corals, soft corals, zoanthids, and anemones. It helps remove surface slime, algae, and potential pests or hitchhikers during acclimation or propagation.

Features & Benefits:

  • Ingredients: Contains the natural plant extracts oleum abietis (fir needle oil) and citrus limon (lemon).
  • Formula: Gentle on coral tissue, unlike harsh, iodine-based dips.
  • Versatility: Safe for use with a wide range of corals and anemones, including LPS, SPS, and zoanthids.

How to use

When using Two Little Fishies ReVive Coral Cleaner, take the following steps, as recommended:

  1. Prepare the mixture: In a separate bucket or container, mix four capfuls (40 ml) of ReVive with one gallon (3.8 L) of clean saltwater. Use room temperature saltwater with a matched salinity.
  2. Dip the coral: Submerge the coral or anemone in the mixture for up to 15 minutes.
  3. Agitate the water: While dipping, gently swirl the coral or use an air stone to agitate the water. This will help dislodge any debris or parasites.
  4. Rinse: After the dip, place the coral in a second container of clean saltwater from your tank to rinse it.
  5. Place in tank: Place the coral in the display tank in an area with moderate water flow.
  6. Discard mixture: The dipping mixture can be reused for other corals within one hour, but should be discarded afterward.

Tips and Considerations:

  • Effectiveness against pests: While many hobbyists report success using ReVive to remove pests like flatworms, some more experienced users suggest that for severe infestations, a stronger dip or a quarantine process may be needed.
  • Protective gear: When handling the product, wear protective gloves and safety glasses.
  • Proper rinsing: Some forum users suggest that rinsing the coral in a separate container of tank water after the dip is important before placing it in the main aquarium to avoid polluting the tank.
  • Expiry date: One customer noted that the product can expire relatively quickly, so it's a good idea to check the expiration date if possible.
