For the treatment and prevention of fleas and ticks on dogs, cats, puppies & kittens from 8 weeks of age. FRONTLINE^® Plus combines fipronil, the active ingredient in all other FRONTLINE^® Plus products, with (S)-methoprene, an insect growth regulator. Integrated Flea Control, or IFC, is what sets FRONTLINE^® Plus apart. IFC refers to a combination of active ingredients working together.
Within 24 hours, FRONTLINE® Plus migrates all over the pet's body through a process called translocation. Fipronil works by attacking the nerve cells of fleas, resulting in their becoming disorientated and hyperactive before dying. The Fiprotec Spot On Cat Treatment is a monthly flea and tick treatment for cats and contains fipronil which is a tried and tested active ingredient that is highly effective and very safe. It kills fleas for up to 5 weeks and aids in the control of ticks for up to 2 weeks. You should avoid contact with hands or any other part of the body and wash hands with soap and water after use. Do not smoke, eat or drink during application of the product. 

Do not bath or shampoo animals 3 days before or 3 days after application as this will decrease the duration of the activity. Remove a pipette from the rack and twist off the top. Part the hair between the shoulder blades so that the skin is visible.  Empty the contents of the container onto the visible skin by squeezing the pipette a number of times. Care should be taken not to wet the hair excessively as this will impart a sticky appearance at the treatment spot.  This will, however disappear within 24 hours. The active ingredient (Fipronil) will spread over the entire coat of the animal within 24 hours. Monthly application is recommended where there is a high risk of infestation, if the pet is allergic to fleas, or in situations where tick control is needed. It is requested to refer to the package insert and product packaging for complete details before using the specific product. Please consult your vet prior to use for adequate and current recommended dose prescription.
