How to use Aquatronica pH calibration solutions:
According to the user manual from GHL Advanced Technology (a system that also uses pH calibration fluids), you will typically use two calibration fluids to calibrate a pH probe.
- Clean the probe with warm water or a 50/50 mix of water and white vinegar.
- Start the calibration sequence on your Aquatronica controller.
- Dip the probe into the pH4 calibration solution. Wait for the reading to stabilize and follow the on-screen prompts.
- Rinse the probe thoroughly with clean water to prevent cross-contamination.
- Dip the probe into the pH7 calibration solution and repeat the process.
- Once calibration is complete, the controller will save the settings.
- Rinse the probe again before returning it to the aquarium.
